What data do you collect about my kid?+
Nothing about your kid ever leaves the computer. The app has no account, no feed, and no tracker. The only things that touch our servers are a one-time license check and the email you use at checkout. Their videos, photos, and projects stay on your machine.
Does it need the internet to work?+
No. After the first license check you can turn the wifi off and keep making videos. Recording, editing, and exporting all happen on your own computer.
Is it really a one-time purchase?+
Yes. You pay once and it's yours. There is no subscription and no renewal. Updates within version 1 are free.
What ages is it for?+
It's built for creators roughly 8 to 16. Younger kids do great in Photo Story and the Recorder. Older kids tend to live in the Studio timeline.
Can they accidentally share something online?+
No. There is no share button that posts anywhere and no built-in feed. To publish, an export file is saved to your computer and you decide what happens to it next.
Mac and Windows both?+
Both. One purchase covers whichever you have, and the Family plan lets you mix and match across up to five devices.
